The Nigerian culture is a proud one to be associated with, when I think about it, it leaves a smile on my face all the time. So I had to put it down on paper and make music, so that those who did experience it will remember and smile,those who didn’t experience it will know about experiences of their fathers and where we’re coming from even as civilization creeps upon us rapidly.

''If the past could be that good,then the future of Nigeria will be so great'' she added.

Pastor Gina Ekiyor is a music minister, song writer and teacher. She is currently an Assistant Registrar with the Rivers State Polytechnic and the music Director of The Rest Place CGMi. She has been in music for over 15 years  and decided to tease fans with a smashing hit single titled 'Great Naija' in commemoration to Nigeria's 55th Independence Celebration. First lady (fondly called by church members) is married to the Senior Pastor of The Rest Place CGMi Rev. Tari Hudson Ekyior and they’re blessed with two children Ebi and Tammy. The song has gone viral on major radio stations in the city of Port Harcourt already.
