Lola Idije Stuns At Daughter’s Introduction Ceremony


 

Veteran Nollywood actress, Toyin Afolayan aka Lola Idije is set to give her daughter’s hand out in marriage. The actress and her friends were honoured this past weekend as family members of her daughter’s fiancee came to ask for her daughter’s hand in marriage.
Toyin Afolayan was looking glamorous in a white lace and blue head tie, the mini introduction held at her family house in Lagos on Sunday the 15th of May 2016.

Frank Edwards and Don Moen set to launch new album title “Grace”


 

Top Nigerian Gospel Artist, Frank Edwards has announced the upcoming release of his collaborative album with Veteran Gospel Legend, Don Moen.
Frank Edwards has frequently shared videos and posts of their meetings and studio recording moments over the years and finally, the moment everyone has been waiting for, is at hand.
Sharing a post on his instagram page with the album artwork, Frank shares: “Are you ready world? Don Moen and Frank Edwards, 6 Tracks deep worship, we are finally ready”
This would be the first ever collaborative album between two renowned American and Nigerian Artists in the history of the Nigerian Music Industry.

Davido celebrate child's birthday, 'bounced' baby mama


 

Super talented artiste, David Adeleke, aka Davido threw a grand party to celebrate his beautiful daughter, Imade who turned a year older on the 14th, May, 2016. However, it was learnt that Davido’s babymama, Ms. Sophie Momodu was ‘bounced’ from the party which held at her grandfather’s residence at Esther Adeleke Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. I ask how it’s been with the sleepless nights and all the “Joy” of motherhood, the things nobody tells you the truth about – no more sleep, 24 hour watch, diapers, burping, washing bottles and sterilizing crying for no reason or a reason you are yet to decipher… Lol … we laugh and she says

“I’m happy and proud to say motherhood is amazingly awesome! It’s been a beautiful experience so far. Sometimes I look at her and smile with so much love deep down in my heart….No doubt, motherhood has its own challenges, can drive you crazy sometimes …. But seeing Sofia coo and giggle and laugh makes it all worth it. Sofia is the best thing that has ever happened to me”, she says this with so much joy and pride we both end up sharing a moment *insert loved up emoticon*

Anna has striking features, a pout that can transform her into this Glamourous Diva, masking a slight lisp that endears her to you as she speaks. I chose to accentuate her lips as she modeled a dress from I Do Weddings’ new wedding dress collection.
First try and the dress fit her like a glove. We didn’t even bother trying another one. She shone like a diamond princess.

Chika Ike visits Children of Soldiers who Lost their Lives



Actress and UN Peace Ambassador Chika Ike recently paid a visit to the children of soldiers who lost their lives during active duty.
At the barracks, Chika Ike encouraged the children and made some generally donations towards the upkeep of the kids.
For the visit Chika Ike opted for a black dress accessorized with black pumps and a purple purse.

Julius Agwu - 'Thank GOD for the gift of life'



Comedian Julius Agwu had a brain surgery a year ago in the US. Sharing photos from after the surgery via social media, Julius wrote,

“Exactly a month today 12th May 2016 makes it 1 year after my brain surgery in Houston, Texas, US. My Utmost Gratitude goes to Almighty God for the Gift of Life and a 2nd Chance. My gratitude also goes out to my ANGELIC WIFE and SUPER WOMAN @ibmac_a for being my PILLAR OF STRENGTH and SUPPORT always. LOVE YOU TO BITS. Special thanx to the medical team both home and abroad, my Sister-in-Law @amoni2k and Hubby Toju Onuwaje - thanx for the hospitality and to all my pastors and prayer warriors, my "Genuine friends and fans who took time to check on me in my trials and tribulations. But the truth is that American rapper, Curtis James Jackson a.k.a 50 Cent has been caught crushing openly on the charming Nigerian songstress, Ada Jane Okwori popularly known as Imelda J. The New York-based rapper cum businessman publicly confessed his love for the Nigerian Afro pop star on his Instagram page when he responded to her comment on his page to the consternations of his ten million followers. “I love you back @imeldajmusic”, 50 Cent said with ecstasy. 
Basking in the euphoria of new found love, Imelda J in return posted on her Instagram and Facebook pages that she admires the American rapper a lot. 
“People, @50 Cent just made my day. I’m blushing right now. He is a legend with a large heart. He is so humble and talented. That’s why I will respect him for life. I admire him a lot. Plenty kisses up in the air for you. You are very humble”, Imelda J screamed''. 
Before now, the award-winning singer is said to have made some incredible appeal to the American rapper to revisit the country again, after he was in Nigeria for the first time during the Star Mega Jam in 2004. Apparently, many fans have expressed fears that this latest crush on 50 Cent, may pose a serious threat to the smooth feelings that have been angling between Imelda J and Koko master, D’banj. The Benue State- born singer who just released her new single, ‘OwoYato’ ft Small Doctor has always had a crush on D’banj. At one time, she was captured through the paparazzi’s lens as the ‘Lady in Red’ at D’banj birthday party in Abuja recently. With 50 Cent already falling heels over in love with her, it goes to ask if Imelda J still has any soft spot in her heart for our Koko Master? We won’t be surprised if 50 Cent flies into the country any time soon to ask for Imelda J’s hands in marriage. Who knows!

Flavour clears the of his affection for Chidinma


 

Flavour and Chidinma’s on-screen chemistry is something that is undeniable and this has led many to believe that a sizzling romance must be going on between both celebrity superstars.
Their kiss in the music video for ‘Ololufe’ went on to stamp this notion in the minds of their fans.
The highlife singer however quashed all fan theories of a romantic relationship between himself and Chidinma stating that they are simply friends.
Speaking to Soundcity in a recent interview, the Igbo crooner had this to say

‘Chidinma is just my friend. Our strong vibe comes from how deep we feel about music’.

Paul Okoye strike hard at Ynaija over Muna's video 'Slow Slow'


 

Ynaija, did a review of Muno‘s new video, Slow Slow, and ended up labeling  Paul Okoye’s a copy cat.
According to Ynaija, Paul Okoye copied the same concept as Rihanna’s work video and still did not do a good job at copying.
Read excerpt below:

''The video is set in a supposed Jamaican club setting along with a sepia-tone theme just like the X directed video.
Paul then copies the same opening of the Work video by introducing us to close up shots of people dancing in slow motions.
He then continues to repeat the same scene while trying to transition to another where girls are on what looks like a dance battle stage reminiscent of Psquare’s 2007 video – Roll It.
He might want to argue that he was inspired by the the original Work video as he added an alley scene which looked like something of an after-thought and a lazy attempt.
We are not as annoyed by the copying though, as we are by the fact of its poor copy.
The video vixens looked like they begged for a spot in the video. Everything just looked poor''.
