Davido finally refutes claims that his 2014 hit track "Aye" was written by singer Runtown from Dilly Records.
"Runtown and TSpize
work great together. TSpize sent me a couple of beats and we recorded
like three songs and everyone was just like, this is the one. So we shot
the video naturally. Everything about me is natural."
Continuing about the song and who exactly penned it, Davido stated,
"No [Runtown didn't write it], But the producer got the beat's check (he got paid). He (TSpize) is a talented producer."
Whether or not Davido wrote the song, who cares. It's currently one of the biggest songs in Africa and
besides, "he got paid!"
