[PHOTOS]: Hollywood Movie ‘Captive’ Premiere at The Rock Cathedral in Lagos.


Lagos, NG — Independence Day, 1st of October 2016, had the House on the Rock Church in collaboration with the US Consulate General, hosting to the delight of everyone, the much anticipated premiere of Hollywood movie, Captive at The Rock Cathedral, Lagos.
The Premiere, which coincided with the celebrations of Nigeria’s 55th Independence Day anniversary, was aimed at further promoting peace, nation building and the development of minds and purpose towards achieving a purpose driven nation.
We are partnering to send a strong message that will change people’s lives. We are partnering on a theme to look at a purpose driven life. The movie shows how the struggle between hope and despair plays out – Dehab Gebreab, acting consul general, U.S consulate, Lagos.
Hollywood is an important messaging platform and the church wants to get in that messaging platform in Nigeria. That’s why we chose to premiere this movie with an a-List Nigerian actor and we hope to challenge Nollywood actors to send a strong message through their acting –  Pastor Adefarasin
The highest office of the land is not the office of the presidency, senate or judiciary but the office of the citizenry – Dr Oby Ezekwesili, Keynote Speaker at the premiere
Performances at the glamorous night included the National Anthem by Chee and Timi Dakolo singing his hit song, Great Nation.
The Hollywood standard premiere drew an audience from all tiers of the nation. Bravo! tns Entertainment was able to drop more pictures for your viewing pleasure.
